This post's overview:
On Tuesday night, Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning – all roads lead to Megan’s restaurant in Fulham. We had a really amazing dinner there a few weeks ago – courtesy of the restaurant, and I’d like to tell you the truth – how was it and what to expect from a visit to Megan’s restaurant in Fulham!
Location
Megan’s actually has two restaurants – one in Fulham and another one in Parson’s green. We’ve been to the Fulham one (571 King’s Road) – about 7-10 minutes walking from the Fulham tube station. It’s quite far if you live in the SE London (just like us), but I love Fulham and it’s always nice to go out in different parts of the city.
Restaurant & Atmosphere
The restaurant is actually hidden behind a lovely and cute cafe. When you pass by – you just thing that Megan’s a a small brunch place or a tiny restaurant, but once you actually enter – you’ll see a lot of seating place downstairs and a really beautifully decorated room. The decoration is somewhat French and has a lot of different lights – beautiful and romantic.
Menu
The menu is primarily Mediterranean (Turkish/Greek) and focuses on kebabs. The kebabs are nothing like a takeaway next to your house though – they are huge, tasty and .. fancy! Pepe ordered the specialty – lamp kebab and it was delicious! I don’t eat much meet these days, so I went for a more classic choice – grilled salmon and it was tasty as well (a bit plain, but it’s healthy, so it’s good).
There are plenty of starters in the menu as well as sharing platters, so it’s also perfect to visit as a group of friends. We haven’t tried any cocktails (there were quite a few in the menu though), but I went for a healthier option and ordered a smoothie, which was really really good! As for the desserts, there are plenty, but we went for a cookie dough – it was really delicious and enough for 3 people to share!
You can see the menu in the photo below or just visit the website of the restaurant using the link here.
On certain days, there are different promos. For example, during our visit on Tuesday, we had 2 dishes for just £16.99, which is a great price for the food quality.
Megan’s is also famous for its brunch – so you can definitely add it to your list as well.
Summary
We really liked everything in Megan’s Fulham – food was great, portions were big and the service was amazing! So in case you haven’t visited the restaurant yet – make sure to add it to your list!
Please note that we were invited by the restaurant, however, all the opinions are as always, our own!
